Noa Wildschut & Concertgebouwkamerorkest

Dutch violinist Noa Wildschut is only 24 years old, but has long been a familiar name in the international classical music world. At age 6, Noa was a soloist at the "Kinderprinsengrachtconcert 2007", which was broadcast live on television. At 7, she made her debut in the Grand Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, performing at "The Night of the Promising", and in 2016 she became an "exclusive recording artist" with Warner Classics. Noa is a highly sought-after young artist worldwide for festivals, recitals, and solo performances with orchestras.

At a young age, Noa won numerous awards, including first prize at the International Violin Competition Louis Spohr 2010, first prize at the Iordanse Violin Days 2012, the Concertgebouw Young Talent Award 2013, and received the Kersjes Violin Scholarship 2017 (at age 16). At Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Noa was awarded the WEMAG Soloist Prize 2018. Noa was selected by the European Concert Hall Organisation as an ECHO Rising Star to tour Europe and perform in major concert halls in the 2019/20 season. Noa had the honor of being artistic director of Festspiefrühling Rügen 2023, part of Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Noa plays on a violin by Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù, known as the "Ex Lady Stretton", Cremona ca. 1730, generously made available to her by a member of the Stretton Society. Noa's bow is a Léonard Tourte, ca. 1800, also made available to her by the Stretton Society.

The Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1987 and is composed of members of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from Amsterdam. Prior to that (from 1957), it was known as the Amsterdam Chamber Orchestra. During that period (from 1957 to 1987), the chamber orchestra made numerous recordings with various conductors including André Rieu, Dr. Anton van der Horst, and Marinus Voorberg. 

The Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra also participated in important national events such as the inauguration ceremony of Princess Beatrix as Queen of the Netherlands (April 30, 1980) in the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam and during the visit of President Bush of the United States to the Netherlands in 1989. The orchestra also contributed during the wedding service of Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Maxima in the Nieuwe Kerk on February 2, 2002. 

The CKO is invited annually by the major Dutch venues and the international community also shows great interest in the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra. In recent seasons, tours have taken place to Turkey, South America, Spain, and Belgium, among others.

In 2027 they will perform with Noa Wildschut at the Mecklenburg Festival, and there are plans to undertake a tour through Asia in 2028 with Daniel Müller Schott.
