Service dogs are welcome at PHIL. We also have volunteer hosts/hostesses present at all our concerts and events to guide visitors with visual impairments. 

Are you hard of hearing and want to fully enjoy the music? PHIL offers an audio system that allows visitors to receive the hall sound personally and adjust it to their hearing needs.

You can reserve this when you purchase your ticket. Upon presentation of this ticket and a valid form of identification, you will receive the necessary equipment at the cloakroom free of charge on loan.

The receiver has a standard (mini-jack) headphone connection. You can use a PHIL headphone or bring your own suitable headphone, for example with good ear coverage or noise canceling, which can also be pleasant for people on the spectrum. Do you use a hearing aid? If it has a T-setting, it can be used in combination with our special ear hooks; testing in advance is possible.

PHIL is easily accessible for people with disabilities and wheelchair users. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor. The Grote Zaal is located on the ground floor, and the Kleine Zaal and Van Warmerdam Zaal are both accessible by lift.

The wheelchair spaces in the Kleine Zaal are in row 7. 
In the Grote Zaal, the wheelchair spaces are in row 1, 2 or row 12. The latter depends on the hall configuration.

In the Kleine Zaal, the caregiver sits next to the person in the wheelchair. Please note: the caregiver sits on a raised platform in relation to the wheelchair space.
 

In the Grote Zaal, the caregiver sits next to, in front of, or behind the person in the wheelchair. This depends on the hall layout and how many wheelchair spaces are occupied.

For sold-out concerts and events, you can sign up for the waiting list. This way you'll be the first to hear when tickets become available again.

For concerts sold through Ticketmaster, you can use Ticketmaster's official and secure Resale platform. Is a concert sold out? Then keep an eye on the Resale page for tickets being offered by other visitors.

Please note: tickets for concerts at PHIL Haarlem are offered on various websites at significantly inflated prices. We advise against purchasing these tickets. Purchases through third parties are always at your own risk.

Do not buy tickets via Topticketshop.nl. This website offers tickets at prices that are often well above the official sales price. Therefore, only purchase tickets through PHIL's official sales channels.

For some concerts we sell Smart Secure Tickets (secured e-tickets)

For a number of concerts we work together with our ticketing system Ticketmatic to sell secured e-tickets to prevent resale. This means your tickets are personal and cannot be transferred. Your admission tickets can only be found in the Ticketmatic app on your smartphone. You can download this app from the AppStore or the Playstore.

During the booking process on our website, it is indicated for which concerts Smart Secure Tickets are used.

If you purchase tickets through our website, you can also choose the Podium Gift Card as a payment method. You redeem the card's value by entering the digits beneath the barcode. Next, you enter your PIN code. This is the six-digit security code shown on the back of the Podium Gift Card, under the gray scratch layer.

Ordering tickets through Ticketmaster? Then you cannot use the Podium Gift Card.

The recommended age from which children can attend a concert is indicated. This takes into account the child's development and their ability to understand and concentrate. We kindly ask you to respect the age limit. 

To make music and the live experience of youth concerts even more accessible to our youngest visitors, children up to and including 12 years old can attend all youth concerts at the PHIL for free this season as well.

How it works:

• Always purchase (free) tickets (and therefore seats)! This prevents the hall from being fully booked
• There is a maximum of three children per paying adult
• The free rate is only valid for children up to 12 years old; tickets will be checked upon entry

PHIL offers a Last Minute Discount for young people up to 30 years old and CJP card holders. With this, you can attend a concert for €12.50 on the day itself.

On the day of the concert, you can order your discounted tickets online. The discount price is only valid for concerts taking place at PHIL. The discount does not apply to youth and family performances, festivals, and various venue rentals.

Do you have a HaarlemPas? Then you can attend our concerts with second-row seats for €7.50.  

Free tickets for refugees
For each concert that we sell through our own website and that is part of our own programming, we offer free tickets for refugees. A maximum of 2 free tickets per person can be collected at the box office one hour before the start.

Yes. In addition to the paid lockers at the entrance, there is a cloakroom in the basement below. Before and after a concert, a staff member is available to take your coat and return it to you. Use of the cloakroom is included in the admission price (unless otherwise stated).

Yes. In the entrance area, there are lockers where you can store your coat or bag. There are two types of lockers: medium lockers (€ 2,50) and large lockers (€ 4,00). You can use the locker by scanning the QR code with your mobile phone on-site. Reservations are not possible.

Due to safety regulations, we prefer no jackets and large bags in the auditorium. There is a supervised cloakroom, and there are lockers available as well.

On the concert or event page, you will find the time when the doors of PHIL open.

We want the concert to start on time. Therefore, we cannot guarantee access to the hall or your seat after the concert has begun. Sometimes the ensemble has no objection and we will still allow you to take a seat where neither the audience nor the performers are disturbed. 

If you are running late, we will wait for a suitable moment to let you enter the hall, so it disturbs the artist and audience as little as possible. When the concert has no intermission, this could mean you cannot enter the hall anymore. For standing concerts, you can always enter and exit the hall. 

The seating tiers make it clear how the sightlines to the stage are. For most concerts in the Grote Zaal, we use four tiers, and in the Kleine Zaal  two tiers. The lower the tier, the less view of the stage. The tier arrangement may vary per concert. For youth and family concerts seat risers are available. 

Both the Grote Zaal and the Kleine Zaal have sufficient legroom in most areas. This applies to the auditorium and the middle balcony in the Grote Zaal, and to the auditorium and balcony in the Kleine Zaal.

Choosing the side balconies in the Grote Zaal? You'll have a beautiful and intimate view of the stage. Please note that legroom in these areas is somewhat more limited than in the rest of the hall.

Switch off your mobile phone or put it in airplane mode before the concert begins. This way you contribute to a pleasant concert experience for everyone and enjoy a moment offline yourself.
