Experience the power of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, performed by more than 110 musicians and singers from Sinfonia Rotterdam. From the first notes to the all-encompassing finale, this music takes you on a journey.

With his Ninth Symphony, Beethoven made history. For the first time, he added singing to a symphony and brought Schiller's Ode to Joy to life in an unparalleled musical climax. Choir and four soloists sing of brotherhood and hope, carried by an orchestra that continually surprises, moves, and electrifies.

Let yourself be swept along by the tension of the powerful second movement, find stillness in the lyrical third movement, and experience how everything comes together in a finale that strikes you to the heart. Beethoven weaves orchestra and choir into a captivating unity in which emotion and energy alternate at a rapid pace.

When Beethoven himself conducted this symphony, he could not hear the thunderous applause, but the audience was deeply moved. Nearly two centuries later, this music has lost nothing of its power. On the contrary: the Ninth Symphony remains an unparalleled celebration of humanity, connectedness, and pure musical grandeur.
