Together with her ensemble, she discovers the echoes of folk music from different countries, the root of all music. Ancient melodies resound in the present and reveal how sounds have shifted, blended, and been renewed throughout the centuries.
From this primordial layer, Hadewych seeks new repertoire for her unique combination of voice and cello, with impressive cello solos also telling the story. The result is an intimate listening experience in which it becomes tangible that we have our own roots and yet belong together.
