Ana-Carmen Balestra is one of the four top talents participating in Dutch Classical Talent 2025/2026. With her Argentine roots as a source of inspiration, soprano Ana-Carmen Balestra takes you on a musical journey through life.
With her own life story in music, the Dutch-Argentinian soprano Ana-Carmen Balestra managed to enchant the jury of Dutch Classical Talent. She sings about universal themes such as innocence, childhood, zest for life, loss, and love through songs by composers including Saariaho, Purcell and Mercedes Sosa.
Cum laude
Born in the Netherlands, Ana-Carmen Balestra is one of the great vocal talents of the current generation. She graduated cum laude from the Conservatory of Amsterdam and made such an impression during the Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music that she won the Guildhall Wigmore Prize and was able to make her debut at the famous Wigmore Hall in London.
Dutch Classical Talent
Dutch Classical Talent is a well-known talent program in the Dutch classical music scene. Among the laureates of Dutch Classical Talent are renowned names such as Tania Kross, Lavinia Meijer, Nora Fischer, the Van Baerle Trio, and the Berlage Saxophone Quartet.

Lockers
In the entrance area, you will find lockers and a coatroom to store your coat or bag. There are two sizes of lockers available:
- Medium lockers (€2.50): suitable for about two coats and a small bag
- Large lockers (€4.00): provide space for two coats, a backpack, and a helmet
You can easily use a locker by scanning the QR code on the spot with your mobile phone. Reservations in advance are not possible.
