40th Anniversary of Dream into Action
In 2025, Howard Jones will celebrate the 40th anniversary of his iconic album Dream Into Action.
The British pioneer of electronic music, Howard Jones, has been performing on international stages for over forty years. He alternates between intimate solo performances and dynamic shows with his high-tech band. His breakthrough came in 1983 with the hit New Song, followed by the successful debut album Human's Lib, which reached number 1 in the United Kingdom.
A year later, the album Dream Into Action followed, which broke through internationally with classics like Things Can Only Get Better, Life In One Day, and No One Is to Blame. Howard Jones grew into a global phenomenon, sold more than 10 million albums, and appeared on popular American TV shows like Today and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
His music still resonates in films and series like Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, and Bumblebee. In 2022, he released the album Dialogue, the concluding part of an electronic trilogy that received positive reviews from Spin and Stereogum.
