Concertkoor Haarlem returns to the PHIL. This time they bring an impressive program with masterworks by Johann Sebastian Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Concertkoor Haarlem was founded in 1946 as 'Koor Katholiek Haarlem' by Haarlem organist and composer Albert de Klerk. Since 2022, the choir has been under the inspiring leadership of Bernhard Touwen, who makes every rehearsal a memorable experience. He is only the third conductor since the choir's foundation.

The choir is ambitious and renowned for its transparent choir sound and artistic programming. It has a stable membership of approximately one hundred singers, with a good distribution across voice parts including one third male voices. Top soloists and winners of the International Vocalisten Concours in Den Bosch are happy to collaborate with our performances. The accompaniment during concerts is always provided by professional orchestras.
