We strive to give every child in Haarlem the opportunity to perform on our stage and experience performing arts themselves. This way, we can inspire children and help them discover the value of music and theater. We facilitate this through our educational programs for primary, secondary, and special education, as well as an unforgettable theater summer camp in Schalkwijk.
Young creators and talents are the future of the performing arts. We provide them a platform to develop and shine. We welcome both emerging professionals and amateur artists in our venues and rehearsal studio, such as in our talent contest Next Up and talent concerts Keys to the Future.
We produce various truly Haarlem performances yearly, such as our own family shows around Christmas and outdoor performances in front of the Stadsschouwburg. Your contribution helps us continue these traditions and keep them accessible to the entire city.
Culture connects us, and this applies to the elderly as well. We livestream concerts to care institutions in the region so that elderly people who are less mobile can experience the beauty of live music. Loneliness among young people also has our attention.
We distribute free tickets to underprivileged families and refugees, so that they too can experience an evening full of culture.
