Set the stage for theater and music in Haarlem

More than 100 years ago, Jan Krol donated the Stadsschouwburg to the city of Haarlem. Following his example, Founders make significant contributions to cultural activities in the region with their donations. Contributions from Founders are allocated to education and talent development, our own theatre productions, and to bring unique concerts and performances to Haarlem. 

What makes the Foundership attractive?

• You have priority in ticket sales: you will be the first to be informed about new performances and concerts and can order tickets first

Tax benefits

PHIL is part of the Foundation City Theatre & PHIL Haarlem. Because the foundation is recognized as a cultural ANBI, you can donate in a tax advantageous way as a donor.

By formalizing the donation for five years in a periodic donation agreement, you can consider the donation as a tax deduction for income tax. With the Gift Act, making periodic donations is even more beneficial: your gift is increased by 25% for the calculation of the gift deduction. This means that your donation can sometimes cost you net almost half of the donation amount.
