Expect an evening full of music from his TV performances at Podium Klassiek, film scores, jazz classics and his own compositions. With a young band of super talented musicians.
Sven Figee is a band leader and classically trained pianist. He is currently also the 'house pianist' of the successful Dutch TV programme 'Podium Klassiek' (NTR), which has been running for over 10 years and where he has a regular segment. Beyond his career as a performing artist, Sven has developed over the years as a composer and created the complete soundtrack for the feature film/nature documentary 'North Sea - Nature Untamed' (De Wilde Noordzee), which won a Golden Calf award for the Netherlands' most successful documentary. During the past theatre season, Sven brought the music from this film combined with visuals to the theatre with the theatrical production 'De Wilde Noordzee'.
