Lo van Gorp
Singer Lo van Gorp may be less known to the general public, but many are familiar with his voice. As a backing vocalist, he has worked with world stars like Al Jarreau, Paul Carrack, Chaka Khan, Jacob Collier, Roger Hodgson, and the Metropole Orchestra. In the Netherlands, he toured for many years with artists such as Marco Borsato, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Oleta Adams, and The Ladies of Soul.
The Royal Dutch Scam
His band, The Royal Dutch Scam, consists of ten top musicians from the Dutch session scene and specializes in the repertoire of Steely Dan, the legendary band from the 70s known for hits like Rikki Don’t Lose That Number, Do It Again, Reelin’ In The Years, and Hey Nineteen. Additionally, songs by Sting and Paul Simon are also on the program, always performed with finesse and musicality.
Diederik van Vleuten
With theater maker and pianist Diederik van Vleuten as a guide, the band presents the program Do It Again: The Best of Steely Dan. A musical and theatrical journey through the fascinating works of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. Stories filled with dark humor, literature, drugs, and rock and roll are interspersed with music at the highest level.
