The first big step of Koosje

Koosje was fifteen years old when she sang her first real aria, from the opera The Kiss of the Pontamoer. This aria was specially composed for her voice by icon Bob Zimmerman. Since then, she has performed on stage with artists like Colin Benders, Ernst Daniël Smid, Steve Reich, and Gwilym Simcock. 

The story behind One More, Koosje's second album

My album One More is an ode to the adventure that life is. It reflects how each day brings new challenges, but also shows how inspiring and loving life can be. Pain and happiness go hand in hand. Ultimately, the transience leads me to the conclusion that I want to live in the moment and experience everything there is to experience: "I won't wait before the day ends, no, I won't rush after the sunset."
