During this Tapas Concert, the Vision String Quartet performs pieces by Spectrum. The quartet lets classical string music merge with modern and personal influences.

'Spectrum' by the Vision String Quartet consists of 13 tracks composed, arranged and produced by the four young musicians from Berlin themselves. Jakob Encke (violin), Daniel Stoll (violin), Sander Stuart (viola) and Leonard Disselhorst (cello) drew inspiration from folk, pop, rock, funk, minimal music and singer-songwriter traditions, and set out to find their own unique sound and style.

The result is a boundary-crossing musical journey, shaped by personal experiences, encounters old and new, and subtle impressions from different cultures. With just their four string instruments, they create a rich universe of sounds, from guitar, ukulele and bass to bongos and even a complete drum set.
