Evan Bogerd
Stadsorgelconcert in de Grote of St. Bavokerk
Haarlem is world-renowned as the city of organs. The city is home to two outstanding organs with monumental status: the Christian Müller organ in the St. Bavo Church and the Cavaillé-Coll organ in the PHIL.
From May through October, concerts are held on Tuesday evenings in the Grote or St.-Bavokerk. In July and August, concerts also take place on Thursday afternoons, performed by renowned organists from the Netherlands and abroad.

Evan Bogerd is a highly sought-after concert organist at home and abroad. He began his organ studies under Herman van Vliet in Amersfoort and subsequently studied with Jos van der Kooy at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. He completed his master's degree with top marks for his final recital.
Over the years, Evan has won numerous awards, including first prize at the international 'Anton Bruckner' improvisation competition in Linz and twice first prize at the National Improvisation Competition in Dordrecht.
Evan Bogerd is actively committed to making the organ accessible to a broad audience. His strong affinity with the Romantic repertoire has earned him much critical acclaim in the press.
Since January 1, 2020, he has been employed as cantor-organist at the Westerkerk in Amsterdam, where he is responsible for the musical program.
