Jan Liebermann began piano lessons at age seven and started organ at twelve. He has received numerous awards and performed on organs at leading venues in Germany and beyond.
Additionally, Jan Liebermann has been a guest at various prestigious organ series, including the Hamburger Orgelsommer, the Internationalen Orgelkonzerte Erfurt, the International Hill Organ Days Berlin, the Victoria Hall Organ Proms in Hanley, and the Himmeroder Orgelsommer.
In spring 2024, Jan Liebermann garnered considerable attention in the organ world with performances of all six trio sonatas by Johann Sebastian Bach, which he performed from memory in multiple public concerts. In recognition of his artistic achievements and dedication, he received the Culture Prize of the Rotary Club Mainz in 2024. A year later, he turned his attention to the complete performance of Marcel Dupré's Trois Préludes et Fugues, which he likewise presented from memory in various public concerts.
