Haarlem is world-renowned as the organ city. The city is home to two outstanding organs with monument status: the Christian Müller organ in the St. Bavo Church and the Cavaillé-Coll organ in the PHIL.
From May through October, concerts are held on Tuesday evenings in the Grote or St.-Bavokerk. In July and August, concerts also take place on Thursday afternoons, performed by renowned organists from home and abroad.
