Roxeanne Hazes returns this autumn with a new album and tour under the theme '...with longing'. It is the overarching theme of her forthcoming third album!
Homesickness for a home, or quite the opposite. Homesickness for people, for places, for tastes, scents… and so much more. It has become a warm and hopeful album, but with her characteristic melancholy and vivid lyrics. The first single Chaos Extinguished was recently released.
During the intimate, warm and narrative tour, Hazes naturally takes her regular band with her, the men with whom she also wrote and recorded this new album. The songs from her Edison-nominated first two albums are also featured, alongside individual tracks and covers with which she has made an impression over the past years.
Hazes presented TV programmes, wrote two children's books, acts, is this year playing Mary the Mother in The Passion, has a podcast with her little brother and was heard last year on collaborations with Herman van Veen, Bente and Jan Dulles. She received two gold records, will be seen next spring in the musical programme Stars On Stage and performs twice at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
