Bente is one of the focal points of Dutch pop music at the moment. During the Haarlem Vinyl Festival she performs a special concert.
Following the release of her second album Drift, Bente advanced to a new level in her career. The album, in which she explores themes such as love, loss and growing up in a compelling way, was widely praised and marked an artistic deepening.
From there, an impressive 2025 followed for Bente: she won the 3FM Award for Best Indie Act, performed at festivals such as Paaspop and Concert at Sea, and scored a hit single with BLØF. In the autumn, she weekly won the hearts of television viewers during Beste Zangers 2025, where the song "Kan Je Me Zien" – a Dutch-language adaptation of Believe by Cher – grew into a national hit. As a crowning achievement to a successful year, Bente sold out the Koninklijk Theater Carré completely. With this, she definitively proved her place at the forefront of Dutch-language pop. In 2026, she continues this trajectory with plenty of new music and shows.
