Racoon

The Zeeland-based band Racoon, known for hits such as Love You More, Oceaan, No Mercy, Het Is Al Laat Toch and Nickel For Goodbye, is back! Effortlessly switching between English hits and Dutch classics, Racoon’s unmistakable sound runs like a common thread through it all. Atmospheric pop songs with an acoustic foundation – the kind only Racoon can deliver.

Over the course of more than twenty years, Racoon has secured a solid place in the Dutch music scene. The band scored multiple hits, including Love You More, which became one of the most played songs on Dutch radio. With Oceaan, Racoon reached a wider audience and won an Edison Award. They have performed at major festivals, sold out venues at home and abroad, and collaborated with the renowned Metropole Orkest. Their transition to Dutch-language music was also warmly embraced. Year after year, their songs return to the charts, the radio, and the minds of a broad audience.

In 2011, Racoon received the Golden Harp, one of the most prestigious Dutch music awards. Their first Dutch-language album, Spijt is iets voor later (2021), went straight to number one in the album charts and was certified platinum. With multiple number one albums to their name, Racoon remains a steady force on Dutch radio and in the charts.
