Social impact

A cultural and social mission  

Our Stadsschouwburg and PHIL Haarlem foundation has as its primary task to engage different people in Haarlem and the surrounding area in experiencing performing arts together. As an organization, we have, in addition to this cultural mission, a social ambition. We actively seek social connections that contribute to the vitality, livability, and social structure in Haarlem and the surrounding area. We are also keen to contribute to a better environment by making our buildings more sustainable and making the right, sustainable choices for our performances and events.
