Mula
Trap, hip-hop, jazz and rock are melted with pop
Mula has been a defining force in Dutch hip hop for ten years. As a pioneer of the trap genre, he set the tone with Wilde Westen. His debut D&G achieved cult status and immediately made him a name to be reckoned with. Since then, he has proven his versatility through collaborations with, among others, Frenna, S10 and Goldband.
His latest album Narcopop (2023) was praised as groundbreaking and awarded an Edison. The subsequent tour played sold-out venues and festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Wildeburg and Into The Great Wide Open. His unique blend of trap, indie and electronics appeals to a broad audience, and his live reputation is among the strongest at the moment. At Noorderslag 2025 he finished in the top three of the 3voor12 list and won the Pop Stipendium from the Cultuurfonds.
