TWijs study day

October 30, 2023

Every two years, Foundation TWijs organizes a study day for the 31 affiliated primary schools in South Kennemerland. Around 750 teachers, principals, and administrators from this partnership gathered in the PHIL for a plenary information session in the Grote Zaal, followed by inspiring and creative workshops in four smaller rooms. The day was, of course, concluded with a pleasant networking reception.

The Cross Media Awards 2023 is an initiative of Marketing Report and were awarded this year in the Kleine Zaal of the PHIL. The evening started with a festive reception and an elaborate sit-down dinner for 200 guests in the Upper Foyer and in the Van Beinum Zaal. After the main course, guests went to the Kleine Zaal for a sparkling award show.

Dining on the Boven Foyer

December 16, 2022

The artists' entrance of PHIL overlooks the suppliers' entrance of the Teylers Museum. And vice versa. Neighbors who know each other well, you would think. Yet for many employees of this art and science museum, it was the first time they made 'the crossing' to the backyard neighbors. "I had no idea there was such a beautiful building behind that facade. And it is so large here!" We have heard this not once, not twice, but certainly 3 times.
