Thomas Wilson was an English industrialist with a cotton factory near what is now Wilsonsplein, the square of our Stadsschouwburg. He was a member of the Sociëteit Vereeniging, then located in PHIL, and he was an enthusiastic lover and patron of culture in Haarlem. Therefore, he is a source of inspiration for our Thomas Wilson Business Club.
