Making Vinyl Conference

The second edition of the Haarlem Vinyl Festival took place at more than 35 locations in Haarlem and attracted over 20,000 visitors with more than 200 artists and speakers. PHIL is a partner of the festival and was the main venue, featuring a comprehensive, largely free program; listening sessions, talks, workshops, performances, and DJ sets. The festival concluded with a two-day international conference for players in vinyl production.
International Business Congress
Following the three-day festival, the international two-day Making Vinyl Conference took place with delegations from many European countries and the United States. Leading players in vinyl production shared insights on the latest production techniques, market challenges, and consumer trends.
PHIL as a festival location
Every year, in both of our cultural houses, there are various festivals such as the Haarlem Dance Days, 2 Turven Hoog for young children, Live 2000 for pop music enthusiasts, 'the 48 hours of' for classical music lovers, the History Festival and the Philosophy Festival, the Popronde and Korenlint. The festivals are our own productions, collaborations with Haarlem stages, or PHIL is rented out as a festival location.
