PHIL has been the setting for the popular AVROTROS program Maestro for all seven seasons. Many recognize our Grote Zaal from this television hit, where well-known Dutch people take on the challenge of conducting a real symphony orchestra. On Sunday, January 21, Chris Zeegers and Frédérique Spigt competed live from PHIL for the golden baton of Maestro. A grand TV production that shows once again how well our location is suited for this.

Our location is regularly used for recordings for TV and film productions or for photoshoots. The producer rents our location and may or may not make use of our technicians and materials. PHIL can (as in the case of Maestro) handle ticketing through our website and box office, either via public sale or with a link for a private group of invitees.
