Wanderings
Tim Knol is walking. Not with the dog, but around Texel, through Norway with his little daughter on his back, around the IJsselmeer, from the tripoint to Groningen. During those walks, he reflects on his previous life as the cheerful, but also dangerously overweight singer-songwriter.
Walking has slowly but surely crept into Tim's songs. Restlessness has made way for contemplation, anger is now love. During the performance Wanderings, Tim talks about his walks and plays the songs that played an important role during these long journeys.
Fortunately, much is still the same as before. Tim alone on a stage full of instruments, beautiful covers, and many new songs. What has changed? Tim himself. That's what Wanderings is about. Reflection while walking and doing something beautiful with it.
