The five men of Calefax work in a factory where very special telescopes are made. They do the same work every day and they are perfectly happy with it. Their movements are so well coordinated with each other and sound so good that it seems as if they are making music. But when something goes wrong one day, there is panic. Until the men discover that they can make the most beautiful musical instruments from pipes. The Music Factory is born!
 
 For years, reed quintet Calefax has performed The Music Factory with great success, a humorous musical performance without words. A cheerful show about the music of famous classical composers such as Bach, Debussy and Prokofjev. About how you can make music from repetition and everyday objects around you.
