American singer-songwriter Matt Simons broke through in the Netherlands with With You, which became a major hit in 2012 thanks to Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden. With his upbeat pop songs, including Catch & Release, We Can Do Better, Open Up, Better Tomorrow and new music, he will be performing in Haarlem in 2027.

In May 2025, his fifth studio album Sun In California was released, on which he once again showcases his recognizable sound. He is already fully immersed in new material. With fresh music and renewed focus, Matt Simons is looking forward to coming to Haarlem.

It sounds like something I want to listen to myself, and that's always the music I try to make. I feel this is a next step in my quest to sound more like myself. With each album I get closer to that.
