Kamerata Zuid celebrates ten years of existence and marks this with a revival of the successful concert tour featuring pianist and composer Iris Hond.
Iris gives a new dimension to the iconic sounds of world-renowned composer Ludovico Einaudi. The soloist also performs her own compositions. Kamerata Zuid performs well-known pieces by pianists who are also composers, such as Alexander Scriabin and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
Einaudi previously praised Iris Hond's exceptional piano playing and called it 'One of the most beautiful performances of my music.' With these words, Einaudi sealed his unique bond with Iris. The full-length classical concert features Einaudi's solo concerto 'Domino' in its entirety, a work in which Iris's technical precision and profound artistry come together completely.
