Assistance dogs are welcome at PHIL Haarlem. Additionally, we have hosts present at all our concerts and events to guide visitors with visual impairments. 

Are you hard of hearing and want to enjoy the music optimally? PHIL Haarlem offers an audio system that allows visitors to receive the hall sound personally and adjust it according to their hearing needs.

You can reserve this when you purchase your ticket. Upon presentation of this ticket and a valid form of identification, you will receive the necessary equipment at the cloakroom free of charge as a loan.

The receiver has a standard (mini-jack) headphone connection. You can use a headphone from PHIL or bring a suitable headphone of your own, for example with good sound isolation around the ears or noise cancelling, which can also be pleasant for people on the spectrum. Do you use a hearing aid? If it has a T-setting, it can be used in combination with our special ear hooks; testing in advance is possible.

PHIL Haarlem is fully accessible for visitors using wheelchairs. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor. The Grote Zaal is located on the ground floor, and both the Kleine Zaal and Van Warmerdam Zaal are accessible by lift.

In the Great Hall, the wheelchair spaces are in row 1, 2 or row 12. The latter depends on the hall configuration.

In the Kleine Zaal, the caregiver sits next to the person in the wheelchair. Please note: the caregiver sits on a raised platform relative to the wheelchair space. 

In the Grote Zaal, the caregiver sits next to, in front of, or behind the person in the wheelchair. This depends on the hall layout and how many wheelchair spaces are occupied.
