Accessibility

PHIL has received the accessibility quality mark sticker from the ambassadors of Accessible Haarlem.

People with Disabilities

The PHIL is fully accessible for visitors using wheelchairs. Disabled toilets are available on the ground floor. The balcony of both halls is only accessible by stairs.

Mobility scooters and walkers cannot be brought into the halls. These can be parked in designated areas indicated by staff.

Contact Public Services on 023 - 512 12 12 to reserve wheelchair spaces or to indicate that you have mobility difficulties. When attending a performance together, there are options to sit next to each other.

Parking garage De Appelaar, close to the PHIL but with limited capacity, has designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.

Hard of Hearing

Are you hard of hearing and want to fully enjoy the music? PHIL Haarlem offers an assisted listening system that allows visitors to receive the hall sound personally and adjust it to their hearing needs.

You can reserve this when purchasing your ticket. Upon presentation of this ticket and a valid form of identification, you will receive the necessary equipment at the coat check free of charge.

Do you use a communication access realtime translation (CART) service?

When booking your ticket(s), please contact [email protected] so we can reserve a seat for your CART provider.

Visual Impairment

Guide dogs are welcome at the PHIL.

At all our concerts, hosts and hostesses are present to assist visitors with disabilities.
