After completing an organ study with a 10 at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Gijs Boelen is involved in the performance and composition of organ music.
He gave his first official organ concert at the age of 14. He later pursued organ studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, which he graduated with honors.
In his compositions, he often combines classical and light genres to excite a broad audience for organ art.
