Cellobende is a series of musical, absurd situations about the wonderful world of adults, seen through the eyes of a child.
In Cellobende, you can marvel at the incomprehensible behavior of adults. They have all sorts of rules because a deal is a deal. They also have sky-high expectations, especially of their own children. The strangest thing is perhaps that you have to do what the teacher says.
The performance is presented by Cello Octet Amsterdam. Especially for them, Morris Kliphuis and Aftab Darvishi composed new music. To that music, you can daydream or let your imagination run wild. Until another adult comes along to put you back on solid ground.
