Aude Schuhmacher

geen pauze

Haarlem is known worldwide as the city of organs. The city has two top organs with a monumental status: the Christian Müller organ in the Great or St. Bavo Church and the Cavaillé-Coll organ in the PHIL.

Organist and bassoonist Aude Schuhmacher comes from Lorraine (France) and studied organ, bassoon, chamber music, and music theory at the conservatory in Nancy. She continued her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon with Jean Boyer (for organ) and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris with Marc Vallon (for bassoon). After her studies, she received the Diplôme National d'Etudes Supérieures Musicales (organ) and the Diplôme de Formation Supérieure (bassoon).

Aude Schumacher is the titular organist of the historical organ in the Saint-Jacques Church in Lunéville and of the organ in the Protestant Temple of Nancy. She is also a professor at the conservatory in Nancy. Aude Schumacher regularly performs as a bassoonist and organist in France and abroad.

From May to October, concerts are held on Tuesday evenings, and in July and August also on Thursday afternoons, in the Grote or St. Bavo Church by renowned organists from home and abroad.
